Acción Mutua
The Acción Mutua Collaboration works to enhance the programmatic capacity of community-based organizations and health departments directly and indirectly funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to implement Diffusion of Evidence-Based Interventions and other HIV prevention services for Latinos and other communities of color at risk for, or living with, HIV/AIDS in the western United States.
Acción Mutua services include:
(1) Individual-level consultation
- Intervention adaptation (culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate)

HIV Prevention for Latino Communities: Self-Reflective Capacity Assessment
The main purpose of this web-based assessment is to assist agencies to engage in a self- reflective exercise about their HIV prevention program and to assess their own capacity to deliver prevention services to Latino communities. Results from this survey are also useful in informing and directing future initiative activities.
