SF State professor combines art and activism for "Day Without Immigrants"
This semester, Community-University Empowerment was pleased to support an SF State contingent in the Day Without Immigrants march.
The College of Ethnic Studies and the Institute were honored to receive a generous donation from Sung Hing Foods in support of the Community-University Empowerment fund.
Announcing two simultaneous donations to the College, totaling $50,000, the company issued the following statement:
An alliance of campus organizations is organizing a Know Your Rights Fair, an informational and training fair for vulnerable populations who may be feeling targeted in the new political climate in the country since the presidential election.
When: Tuesday, February 28th from 12noon to 5:00pm
Where: Jack Adams Hall – Terrace Level of the César Chávez Student Center, San Francisco State University.
